Hormuzd Masani elected president of Asia Pacific Audit Bureaux of Circulations

Hormuzd Masani, secretary general of Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), was unanimously elected president of Asia Pacific Audit Bureaux of Circulations (APABC).
Masani was earlier secretary general of ABC since December 1998.
Besides India, the other member countries of APABC include Australia, BPA Worldwide (USA), China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand and Singapore.
Hormuzd Masani was also elected to the executive board of IFABC as well as the honorary treasurer of IFABC at the General Assembly of International Federation of Audit Bureaux of Circulations (IFABC). Other members on the IFABC executive board include representatives of member Bureaux from Australia, Hungary, Malaysia, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the US.
IFABC is a voluntary federation of industry sponsored organisations since 1963 and established in 37 countries throughout the world to verify and report facts about circulation of publications and related data.
ABC India was established in the year 1948 and is the founder member of IFABC. ABC India audits and certifies circulation figures of over 400 member publications every six months.
