Gold medal for AP scientist
Hyderabad: Dr U.C. Kulshrestha, scientist, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, has been selected for the 'M.S. Krishnan Gold Medal' by the Indian Geophysical Union (IGU), for the year 2004.

The medal would be presented to Dr Kulshrestha at the 41st annual convention of the IGU, scheduled to be held on December 29, at the Saurashtra University, Rajkot. The award is in recognition of his work in the field of Atmospheric Aerosol Chemistry, according to an IICT press release.

Anjan and Kapil among Pepsi's top salespeople
New Delhi: Pepsico has announced that Anjan Patole and Kapil Agarwal of PepsiCo India Holdings were among the company's top salespeople during a special awards ceremony held at PepsiCo Headquarters in Purchase, New York.

Patole, Franchise Manager (Gurgaon), and Agarwal, Unit Manager (Noida), were inducted into the President's Ring of Honour, a coveted honour for PepsiCo's salespeople. Amongst PepsiCo's 85,000 salespeople worldwide, they were specially recognised for their outstanding contribution to the company's success.
