Prem Panicker to join Yahoo!

Cricket writer Prem Panicker, one of Rediff.com's earliest staffers and the editorial director of the company's US-based newspaper India Abroad, is quitting Rediff.
Panicker was with Rediff for 14 years and is slated to join Yahoo! as managing editor, a post that has been vacant for a long time now.
Panicker has been with Rediff since October 1995.
Prior to that, he was a senior editor at Sunday Observer. Between 2002 and 2006, he was based in New York, editing India Abroad.
