Sandeep Lakhina bids adieu to the Starcom MediaVest Group

Sandeep Lakhina, chief operating officer, Starcom MediaVest Group, India, has decided to move on from the group.
''It has been an enriching journey for me at SMG. I have worked with a bunch of bright enthusiastic people, a set of great clients and brands, and an industry which has seen colossal highs and lows since I joined in end-2007,'' said Lakhina.
Lakhina will stay with SMG till June, serving his notice period. He had joined Starcom in 2007 as managing director, India, for the West and South regions.
Lakhina started his career as a management trainee at Bajaj Electricals in 1992. Over his career he worked with companies like Euro RSCG, Deloitte Consulting as a senior manager and The Coca-Cola Company as global manager among others.
He holds a MBA in marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and an MBA in strategy and operations from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business.
