Susana Tsui becomes regional president, Neo@Ogilvy
31 Jul 2009
Ogilvy's digital media arm, Neo@Ogilvy, has promoted Susana Tsui to regional president, with immediate effect. Tsui, previously regional managing director of Neo@Ogilvy, is credited with the growth of Ogilvy's digital media operation to one of the leading multinational digital media agencies in Asia, in just three years.
Globally, Neo@Ogilvy Asia Pacific now operates across 11 countries with 16 offices and 350 employees.
In a move that will streamline and strengthen the Asia Pacific operation, Tsui will hand over daily operational responsibilities to her in-market senior management team, continuing her focus on further strengthening Neo's capabilities in the digital media, including Neo's capabilities specifically in display, search engine marketing, performance marketing, analytics and emerging media platforms.
Added to her portfolio will be the development of new business models, launching new service offerings, and the identification of acquisition and merger opportunities.
With over 12 years of digital agency experience on both the creative and media agency sides, Tsui's appointment reflects the ambitious growth the company has made over the last three years. Her key achievements at Neo include the successful integration of local acquisitions such as Century Harmony in China and Lee&Jang in Korea, and the launch of TEM Control (Neo's proprietary data management and reporting platform) in Asia, the launch of the Neo proprietary bid management tool in China and the launch of Ogilvy Performance Marketing.
Prior to joining Neo, Tsui was general manager of full service digital agency (XM Hong Kong) and later managing director of XM / RMG Connect, China. She has also served as the client services director of Modem Media, North Asia, now a part of Digitas, and director of sales at Engage Technologies, the first digital ad network and ad serving technology provider to enter Asia Pacific.
