V C Chittoda appointed managing director Mahanagar Gas Limited

Mumbai: Vipin Chandra Chittoda, former zonal general manager, GAIL, has taken over as managing director, Mahanagar Gas Limited effective today from P K Gupta, who is moving back to parent GAIL as executive director, HR.
Chittoda has over 34 years in the public sector hydrocarbons companies. Prior to his secondment to Mahanagar Gas, as zonal general manager, he headed GAIL's Mumbai Zonal office responsible for natural gas, petrochemicals and liquid hydrocarbon marketing.
Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) is a distributor of piped natural gas and compressed natural gas in Mumbai and its neighbouring areas.
