Bharti Infratel appoints Sunil Khurana as chief operations officer

Bharti Infratel has appointed Sunil Khurana as chief operations officer. He will be also a member of the company's core executive council team.
In his new role, he will provide strategic direction to the day-to-day operations of Bharti Infratel towards facilitating operational excellence and efficiency to meet customer requirements.
He will also oversee the circle operations and different aspects of customer service delivery. All circle business heads, head of operation & maintenance and head of deployment will report into Khurana.
Khurana has joined Bharti Infratel from GE Group where he worked in various capacities. In his last assignment as director of services for South Asia, he managed the profit and loss for the region (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal) reporting to the India CEO and the global service leader based in US.
Prior to joining GE Group, he was associated with Inrarys Pvt Ltd. as production head and IGE Medical Systems as Sr. Sales Engineer.
Bharti Infratel, the telecom tower arm of the country's largest mobile operator Bharti Airtel, had successfully completed its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in December.
