Vivek Kudva to head Franklin Templeton India

Franklin Templeton Investments (India) has announced the appointment of Vivek Kudva as president. Based in Mumbai, he will be responsible for overseeing the India Asset Management business.

An engineering graduate from IIT-Delhi and a post graduate diploma in management from IIM-Ahmedabad, he was earlier general manager, National Bank of Oman, prior to which he was country head, personal financial services, HSBC India, where he was instrumental in successfully developing and executing the bank's retail growth strategy in India.
