Hightech headband reads users’ emotions

Japanese company, Neurowear has come out with a high-tech headband, called the, ''Necomimi, that users control with their brains.
The company's Necomimi headband features robot cat ears connected to sensors that can read the user's emotions and react accordingly. The name, in Japanese, means cat ears.
The ears perk up while the user is concentrating, lie flat when he or she is relaxed and circle when the wearer is relaxed and concentrating.
The company has yet to decide on the colours for the headband and the release date. Neurowear says that this device will be the first in a new line of fashion / gadget products.
According to a Reuters report, scientists are using this kind of technology for wheelchair-bound users or as way to operate a car.
The report adds that the company claims, the technology would allow shy people communicate better but at the moment Neurowear is focusing on using the tech as a fashion accessory.
