Forbes names Raytheon as Best Managed company in aerospace/defence

In its 10th annual survey of the 400 Best Big Companies, Forbes has named Raytheon as the best managed company in the aerospace/defence industry.
Forbes has lauded the Raytheon management for improving the company's financial performance, including a significant decline in debt, and notes the strong growth posted by Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems, Network Centric Systems and Missile Systems businesses.
In its methodology, Forbes states that its choice for best-managed companies in 26 industries, including aerospace and defence, was based on financial statistics as well as ''management ability, innovation and leadership.''
