Emirates launch tri-weekly A380 superjumbo Dubai-Shanghai service

An increasing number of international destinations are now being served by the Airbus 380 superjumbo even as the induction of these aircraft into carrier fleets moves apace. Dubai-based Emirates is now adding Shanghai to its list of A380 destinations, starting 27 April, with a non-stop service from Dubai.
Shanghai will be the carriers' third destination in Mainland China for its Airbus A380s, Earlier it had launched A380 services to Beijing in August 2010 and Hong Kong in October of the same year.
Emirates' 489-seater A380 will also be the first scheduled A380 service to Shanghai.
The service will operate three days a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays as EK302 departing Dubai at 03:10 and arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 15:30 local time. The return flight EK303 departs Shanghai at 23:30 and arrives in Dubai at 04:30 local time the following day.
The arrival time of the Emirates flight in Dubai offers passengers from China an extensive list of destinations in the Middle East served by the carrier.
Emirates has added services within the Middle East and Africa this year and to 27 destinations in Europe.
