China activates new intermediate, long-range missiles

China’s new intermediate and long-range missiles, capable of precision strikes on medium and large warships, have now been activated, according to state-run China Central Television (CCTV).

The missiles are capable of nuclear counterattacks and can precisely attack medium and large targets on land and on warships, it added.
International media reports have also been citing the ‘Guam Killer’ nuclear missiles, which are capable of hitting the US, and which were displayed at a military parade in China.
The missiles can target large aircraft carriers and can speed across 2,000 miles, even hitting American interests in Guam in the Pacific Ocean.
CCTV claims that the missiles have been designed, developed and built in China and have been commissioned.
The country has of late been improving its nuclear counter-attack capabilities and medium-to-long precision strikes. The television network claimed that the new type of weapons are part of the strategic deterrent and strike force of the military and ‘a killer’ for combat troops and the backbone of weapons.
