ABCI honours Hikal with three awards for best brochure designs

Mumbai: Hikal, a leading global manufacturer of thiabendazole (TBZ), a post-harvest fungicide, received three awards for the best brochure designs by the Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI) in its 42nd award ceremony at a glittering ceremony held in Mumbai recently.

Vineesh Sadekar, president and COO, Hikal, received the award from Gerson Da Cunha, convenor, AGNI (Action for Good Governance and Network for India).

The ABCI awards are presented for excellence in the print, electronic and audio-visual media. The Hikal brochures awarded for their designs are Hikal Corporate Brochure, APIs Research and Development - Custom Synthesis and Thermal Oxidiser. Hikal also received certificates of commendation for its in-house newsletter Hikal Happenings and wall calendar.

ABCI is the apex body of professionals in business communications. Founded in 1956, the association was originally called the Indian Association of Industrial Editors. The expert panel of judges included communication stalwarts such as Pragnya Ram, G C Bainik, R Badrinathan, and L N Baijal, to name a few, who assessed all the 330 entries submitted for the 42nd ABCI awards.
