Aircel sets up free communication facilities in Uttarakhand

Aircel has set up free mobile booths manned by its employees in Uttarakhand to help victims and the stranded to communicate with their families and friends.

The booths are located at Koti Relief Camp in Tehri district and are equipped with helpdesks, handsets and mobile charging units. All these are available free of cost.

The mobile booths have been set up to provide assistance to affected people coming in from Kedarnath, Rudraprayag and Gaurikund areas to the Koti Camp.

The team from Aircel is also assisting people with other communication facilities regarding their further movements to base stations in Dehradun and Rishikesh.

Furthermore, the company has also opened helpline numbers - 9716215000 and 9716218000 – to provide the present or last location of the subscriber in Uttarakhand.
