Allied Telesyn protects customers' investments with service-oriented Net.Cover

Mumbai: Allied Telesyn, one of the world's leading companies in the networking industry, has been offering the Net.Cover service and support programme for its customers in South Asia since the programme's soft launch in Asia in December 2003. Over the past 6 months more than 50 per cnet of the overall new subscribers in the region came from Thailand.

"We were encouraged by the increasing number of enquiries on Net.Cover," said Kelvin Chua, system engineering senior manager at Allied Telesyn. He continued, "Already well-established in the US, Europe and New Zealand, we are confident that more customers in Asia will subscribe to Net.Cover for the added protection for their investments in Allied Telesyn products."

The service and support programme is currently available in Singapore as well as major towns in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and India. The programme offers 5 service plans that cater to the different networking needs of Allied Telesyn's customers – Basic, Basic Plus, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

"In order to encourage more customers to subscribe for Net.Cover, we will be rolling out attractive programmes and e-campaigns within the next 6 months," added Chua. "We hope to increase the number of customers protected by Net.Cover in this region by another 5 -10 per cent by the end of the year."
