Aptech on Middle East expansion drive

Chennai: Aptech Limited, the IT education company has expanded its Middle East operations by opening up of an Arena Multimedia centre at Dubai and Aptech Computer Education Centres at Kuwait and Iran.

Aptech already has centers at Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Iran and Saudi Arabia in the Middle East. The company already has a computer education centre in and the new one will provide training in animation, gaming, graphic designing, web designing and media publishing.

Aptech Computer Education has opened up two new centres in Iran at Mashad and Tabriz. It's existing centres are located at Esfahan, Tehran and Valiasar.

According to Pramod Khera, CEO and managing director, Aptech, "Year 2007 is the year of growth for us. Besides creating depth in the markets where we are already present, we are looking at several new geographies to fuel our growth plans. The expansion of our presence in the Middle East is a part of this strategy''.

Aptech plans to shortly open up two more centres in Iran and its maiden centre at Syria.
