Bharti Airtel, the country's leading operator by subscribers, has launched high-speed 4G services in Goa. The company's customers can now enjoy 4G with immediate SIM swap and home delivery.

''We at Bharti Airtel are extremely pleased to introduce the superfast 4G services to our customers in Goa. As an increasing number of Indians have shown a preference for consuming data and content over their mobile devices, we want our existing customers to be the first ones to enjoy the 4G experience at 3G prices,'' said Ashok Ganapathy, Bharti Airtel's Hub CEO for Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat.

''While launching Platinum 3G we significantly augmented our network and now have made further investments in building a robust 4G infrastructure here. For us, delivering a compelling experience to our customers is our utmost priority,'' he added.

Airtel said its 4G customers can access superfast internet speeds and enjoy capabilities such as high definition video streaming with zero buffering, downloading 10 movies in less than 30 minutes, uploading entire photo albums in less than five minutes (ie uploading two high resolution photos per second) and connecting multiple devices without compromising on the experience among others.

Airtel has introduced a new range of 'Infinity Plans' starting at Rs999. These plans offer unlimited voice calls on mobile along with data benefits and access to 'Wynk Movies' and 'Wynk Music'.

Recently Bharti Airtel had announced a Rs 60,000 crore investment towards its comprehensive network transformation programme, 'Project Leap'. Under its ambitious 'Project Leap', Airtel plans to add around 1.60 lakh sites in the next three years.

Airtel will be adding nearly 23,000 high speed data sites enhancing the overall network experience for customers.
