Mumbai: Concerto Software (www.concerto.com), a proven provider of customer interaction management (CIM) solutions, has announced it has entered into strategic partnerships with Trends & Technologies and Intranet Business Systems, under which both entities will distribute and implement the complete range of Concerto solutions throughout the Philippines.

"We were in need of a leading-edge contact centre solution suite to add to our product portfolio," says Intranet Business Systems vice-president Danny Camit. "After evaluating numerous partners, we concluded that Concerto's CIM technology completes our solution offering for this industry making us a one-stop shop to meet our customers' technology needs."

Trends & Technologies is recognised in the region as a high-end data and telecommunications solutions provider and maintains an established contact centre practice. Intranet Business Systems, one of the Philippines' leading business intelligence consulting firms, focuses on maximising clients' customer relationship management and corporate governance strategies by applying leading-edge technology solutions and services.

The partnerships enable both companies to deliver and service Concerto's customer interaction management solutions, helping their customers more effectively manage contact centre interactions via voice, fax, email and the web.

"We are driven by our customers' satisfaction, and partnering with Concerto gives us the resources to provide our clients with a superior suite of contact centre solutions that will help them gain competitive advantage," says Trends & Technologies president Renan B Velonza. "We're extremely excited about the opportunities we see for Concerto's CIM solutions in the Philippines' growing contact centre market."

According to leading market research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan, the market for contact centre systems in the Philippines is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 31 per cent to $28 million by 2006. This growth is driven primarily by contact centres providing outsourcing services to large multinational enterprises.

New channel manager for Southeast Asia
Concerto has also announced the appointment of Steven Wong as channel manager for Southeast Asia. In this role, Wong is responsible for channel sales strategy, marketing and sales operations in the region. He will manage Concerto's growing alliances with distributors and systems integrators to expand the customer base and increase revenues.

Wong is an international sales executive with 15 years of experience in the communications industry. Prior to joining Concerto, Wong worked with Nortel Technologies where he was responsible for establishing and supervising all partnerships for its South Asia service provider business.

"Steven brings impressive sales and partner management accomplishments to the Concerto team," says Concerto vice-president (Asia-Pacific) Pramod Ratwani. "As Concerto continues to solidify its leadership position in Asia Pacific, I am confident Steven will leverage partnerships like those with Trends & Technologies and Intranet Business Systems to build momentum and increase our presence."
