Dassault Falcon, a division of French aerospace company Dassault Aviation, has announced that it will open spares distribution centres in China and India to support Falcon jet models in the region.

While the Shanghai centre, due to open by the end of March, will have an inventory of $2.2 million, the Mumbai centre, opening in May, will have an inventory of $1.5 million.

With the new centres, Dassault Falcon said, it will have about $8 million dollars' worth of inventory across its centres in the Asia-Pacific region, nearly double from a year ago.

The company has a regional distribution in Singapore and a satellite distribution centre in Sydney, Australia.
