DataAccess America, ITXC to provide telephony services in US

New Delhi: Data Access America (www.da-america.com), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Data Access India (www.da-india.com), has signed an interconnect agreement with ITXC Corp (www.itxc.com), one of world''s leading international voice carriers, as part of Data Access'' strategy in the US telecommunications market.

According to the terms of the agreement, Data Access will offer its customers international telephony services to and from the US over ITXC''s global voice-over-IP (VoIP) network ITXC.net. This will enable Data Access to provide international telephony solutions to over 175 countries.

The interconnect agreement allows Data Access America to terminate its traffic to all major international destinations using ITXC''s global network. Also this allows ITXC to access Data Access'' global network to deliver high-quality telephony services using Data Access'' PoPs in London, New York, Hong Kong, and all major Indian cities.
