Restaurant chain, Domino's Pizza, plans to set up 20 new outlets in India over the next two months.

''We plan to set up around 20 outlets in two-three cities, of which 15-18 will be set up in existing centres and the remaining in new destinations such as Cochin and Allahabad,'' said Domino's Pizza India's CEO, Ajay Kaul.

Once the new outlets are set up, the number of Domino's Pizza outlets in the country would go up to 250.

''We intend to increase the outlets to 250 by March 2009,'' Kaul said.

This year, the company will be investing around Rs50 crore for setting up its outlets and around Rs20-crore for setting up factories.

''The operations at the Delhi factory, in which we have invested around Rs10-15 crore, will start by the end of this year. Around Rs10-15 crore have been set aside for a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in South India where operations would start by February. A factory would also be set up in Mumbai by August next year at an investment of Rs10-crore,'' Kaul said.

The company has announced an investment of Rs220-230 crore in India over the next three years for expanding its retail fast-food chain and manufacturing capacities.
