Electrolux in IT infrastructure management pact with HCL Technologies

Mumbai: Swedish electronic appliances maker Electrolux has awarded HCL Technologies Ltd, a 5-year IT infrastructure management contract.

The scope of engagement covers support of workplace services for Electrolux including proactive monitoring and management of network, servers, IT security and end user computing environment in 12 countries in the APAC region including Australia.

''We wanted to offer a standardised service to Electrolux operations in Asia Pacific without increasing costs," said Bertil Norberg, Electrolux Group CIO.

HCL will deliver these services to Electrolux through its global delivery centres in India and Malaysia and onsite services. It will be provide multilingual helpdesk services in languages including English, Vietnamese, Thai and Bahasa (Malaysia & Indonesia) to Electrolux end-users across Asia Pacific.
