GTL Infrastructure CEO quits, company revamps board

A Ravi, director and  CEO, GTL Infrastructure Ltd has resigned on personal grounds, even as the firm has revamped the roles and responsibilities of its directors.

GTL Infrastructure Ltd and its sister concern GTL Ltd had proposed restructuring its debt under a corporate debt restructuring (CDR) scheme, following a battering at the stock market and had appointed SBI Capital Markets to review and assess the companies' financials and obligations.

GTL Ltd is a shared network services provider, while GTL Infrastructure Ltd is a shared passive infrastructure company.

On Thursday, following a board meeting, GTL Infrastructure had named Milind Naik, who has been with the group for over 26 years, as director and chief operating officer.

Prakash Ranjalkar, a director with the company will continue to be responsible for strategic initiatives, operations and business development.

Manoj Tirodkar, the founder of Global Group, and promoter and non-executive chairman, will guide the management on strategic matters, growth and mergers and acquisitions.
