HCL Technologies sets up dedicated vendor offshore facility for Microsoft

HCL Technologies Ltd today announced the opening of a dedicated vendor offshore facility (VOF) for Microsoft, to enhance existing capabilities in offering migration and project services to global customers on new Microsoft technologies, and build a credible mass in Hyderabad.

HCL, as a Microsoft go-to-market (GTM) gold certified partner, will further accelerate its capabilities in implementing best practices around active Microsoft Dynamics practise and offer migration and project-based services to global customers for deploying new MS platforms like Windows Vista, SMS, MS System Centre, MOM 2007 etc.

According to Rajiv Swarup, corporate vice president and global delivery head, industry solutions, HCL Technologies, said, "This VOF adds another dimension to our multi faceted existing relationship with Microsoft and is an important initiative towards strengthening global leadership in this arena. It will accelerate the execution and delivery of our integrated services in application development and quality assurance, product engineering and infrastructure support for Microsoft. Establishing a Microsoft community within HCL will promote Microsoft technologies in building various industry solutions."

The salient features of VOF include segregated and structured UTP labeling system, extensive physical and virtual security conforming to Microsoft certified ISMS Guidelines besides ISO standards.
