HCL ties up with New Zealand’s Optimation

Information technology firm HCL Technologies has tied up with New Zealand IT firm, Optimation for to provide software solutions in New Zealand.

In a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, HCL said that it has signed a partnership agreement with IT firm Optimation to offer software solutions to the New Zealand government and enterprise customers.

Under the agreement, both companies will offer services like business transformation, remote infrastructure management, business process outsourcing, application development and maintenance, testing, document management, SOA and middleware upgrades.

The HCL-Optimation partnership would offer customers a solution mix from a range of partners, including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and EMC, the filing added.

The two software firms will also intend to provide software solutions to the government of New Zealand.

''HCL's willingness to engage on a fixed outcomes basis and to share risk is in tune with our own business philosophy,'' said Optimation's chief executive officer, Rhoda Holmes.
