HLL rolls out consumer promotion campaign

Hyderabad: Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) has announced a promotional campaign for Rin, the company's popular brand of detergent in the state. The promotion offers consumers an opportunity to win several prizes such as a washing machine and the mega prize, an Alto. To be eligible for winning prizes, consumers have to purchase five sachets of Rin powder, which entitles them to lucky draw coupons, which have to be filled in by them.

According to Manish Agarwal, marketing head detergents, "We have announced this offer to reward our loyal consumers who have stood by with Rin since its inception. In view of the recent price reductions, we would like to assure consumers, that Rin has always provided the best quality at the right price.

The recent price reduction of the product reaffirms the fact that the quality of Rin is far superior to that of existing competition and also should provide reassurance to our consumers of our commitment towards always providing them the best."

The promotion was kicked off from April 2 and is spread cross 77 towns including mini-metros in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Approximately 3,000 prizes will be handed over every fortnight with the rollover prize of an Alto car being the major attraction.
