Honda reduces prices of City and Accord from today

New Delhi: Honda today announced a reduction in the prices of its models, Honda City and Accord passing on the benefits in the reduction of the peak customs duty cut announced in the budget yesterday. The new prices will be effective from today.

Announcing the lowered prices, H Yamada, president and CEO Honda Siel Cars India Ltd, said, "The 5 per cent cut in the peak customs duty is a welcome move from the government. We are extremely pleased to pass the benefit of the duty cut to our customers, so as to be able to offer them enhanced value. We are sure that this move will further improve the tremendous customer response received by both these models."

As a result of the price-reduction, the Honda City 1.5 EXi would now cost Rs6,49,500; the Honda City GXi Rs6,99,500 and the City CVT Rs7,59,500 (ex-showroom Delhi prices).

The ex showroom (Delhi) price of the Honda Accord has also been reduced to Rs14,71,000 for the VTi-L manual variant, and Rs15,42,000 for the VTi-L automatic variant. The Honda Accord V6 (A/T) will now cost Rs16,99,001.
