ICICI OneSource sets up BPO facility in Argentina

Mumbai: Business process outsourcing (BPO) company ICICI OneSource has opened a 400-seat facility in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is the fourth global delivery center outside India for ICICI OneSource which has now facilities in the US, Ireland and Buenos Aires, in addition to 10 centers across India.

The South American operation will add Spanish language capabilities to ICICI OneSource's service offering. ICICI OneSource will provide one of its US-based telecom clients with a variety of back office transaction processing functions from this center.

"The Argentina center is in line with our strategy to quickly establish a global delivery platform. This reflects our transition from an offshore partner to a preferred outsourcing partner for our key customer relationships," said Ananda Mukerji, managing director and CEO, ICICI OneSource.

"The Buenos Aires Centre has highly experienced staff and it will significantly deepen our offering to our telecom clients. The telecom outsourced services market is expected to grow at a 10.7 per cent CAGR over the next five years. Currently 30 per cent of our revenue comes from our telecom vertical and we intend to grow this vertical aggressively," he added.
