ICICI Prudential Life introduces mobile payments of premium

Mumbai: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance policyholders can now pay their premiums through their mobile phones, anytime and from anywhere. ICICI Prudential is the first life insurance company in the country to launch this unique facility.

The company entered a partnership with mChek, a Visa-certified secure and simple system, to enable its policyholders make their premium payments through a simple SMS and by using their credit card. This service is currently available to all Airtel mobile service users only, across the country.

The added advantage of paying premiums through the mChek facility is that all Visa and Master Card cards are accepted on this service. All transaction application meets stringent, international standards of security and users are secured by their unique mChek PIN. Also, encrypted end-to-end with 3DES encryption ensures banking-grade security from the convenience of the mobile phone.
 
To register for this service, ICICI Prudential Life policyholders with Airtel mobile numbers can visit www.mchek.com or sms MCHEK to either 56767 or 121 and can register with any VISA / Master Card.. Policyholders can create a PIN of their choice, which can be used to conduct payment transactions on their mobile phone. Registered policyholders can sms MCHEK <Policy Number> < Premium Amount> to 56767 to make the payment.
