Ahmedabad: HDFC Securities, promoted by HDFC and Chase Capital, has launched the 'Dial-a-Share' service in four cities of Gujarat - Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot. With the launch of this service, investors in Gujarat can now buy and sell shares on the National Stock Exchange, either over the Internet or over the telephone.

The unique feature of this service is that customers can call a toll-free number and get connected to a centralised retail-trading desk in Mumbai. “We are going to extend this facility to 15 more cities across India. As of now, this facility is available in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai,“ says HDFC Securities managing director Sunil Shah.

“This service of HDFC Securities not only ensures ease and speed but also provides the unique feature of integrating the customer's savings bank and demat accounts with the trading account to help seamless transactions in shares,“ he adds.
