Jaguar Land Rover’s Evoque to launch in India on 19 November

Jaguar Land Rover's face-lifted Range Rover Evoque is set to launch in India on 19 November 2015.

The updated vehicle comes with a number of cosmetic changes such as a redesigned front bumper, LED daytime running lights with integrated turn indicators, two new grille designs,  full LED headlamps, tweaked tail lamps and three all-new alloy wheel designs.

The interiors of the Evoque sport new seats and door casings as also new colours and materials. The vehicle has features like hands-free tailgate function, head-up display, surround camera system, 17 speakers, 825 Watts Meridian surround sound system and rear seat entertainment among others.

The refreshed Evoque is likely to be powered by the same SD4 diesel engine as the current model and it would also get Jaguar Land Rover's new Ingenium diesel engine. The facelifted Evoque would also be expected to feature Range Rover's All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC).

According to an earlier report by ETAuto, the company had started taking bookings for the vehicle.

According to commentators, the New Range Rover Evoque marked a bold evolution of the Range Rover design and strikes the perfect balance between distinctive exterior design, a contoured cabin, capability and performance. 

The Land Rover range in India includes the Land Rover range in the country includes the flagship Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 4, all completely built up units (CBU), and the locally manufactured Discovery Sport.

The models carry a price tag of between Rs 46.1 lakh and Rs 2.07 crore (ex-Mumbai pre octroi).
