Jio launches Flame 4 phone at same price as Flame 3: Rs3,999

Reliance Jio's retail arm has expanded its Lyf handset line-up with the launch of the VoLTE-ready Flame 4 smartphone. The Lyf Flame 4 is listed on the company's website with a price tag of Rs3,999.

The company has earlier launched the Lyf Flame 3 smartphone, which also features almost same specifications except for the inbuilt storage capacity, camera and battery. It however carries the same price tag of Rs3,999.

The dual-SIM Flame 4 smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixel) display with pixel density of 225ppi, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Lyf Flam 4 smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor with Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM.

The smartphone features a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front-facing camera.

According to the company website, the handset camera can shoot videos in HD resolution at 30 frames per second. Some of the other camera features included are HDR, Panorama, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Burst Mode and more.

The Flame 4 houses 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB. It is backed by a 1400mAh battery.

In addition, the smartphone also gives users the option to choose from 10 local languages.
