KEC International to execute power projects in Abu Dhabi, Algeria

KEC International Ltd has been awarded two power projects in Abu Dhabi and Algeria worth Rs391 crore and Rs246 crore respectively. 

The Abu Dhabi Transmission & Despatch Company (TRANSCO) has awarded a turnkey project to KEC for 400 KV double circuit and quad circuit transmission lines to be laid across 173km. connecting Fujairah substation to Sweihan substation.The completion time for the project is 24 months.

In Algeria, SONELGAZ ha entrusted KEC with a 400 KV single circuit transmission line from Cheffia to Ain Bedia and from R. Djamel to Djendouba on a turnkey basis. This project has a completion period of 15 months.
