Chennai: Finding a good response to the 250cc v-twin engine imported cruiser bike, Aquila from the Korean company Hyosung Motors, the Pune-based Kinetic Engineering Limited, has decided to launch the bike in Chennai.

Branding it as Kinetic Aquila with a price tag of Rs.1.75 lakh, Kinetic Engineering has imported the third consignment of the premium bike from Korea.

Announcing the introduction of the final round of Aquilas, Arun Firodia, chairman, Kinetic Group said," It's a matter of pride for the group to be able to bring the country's fastest and most advanced cruiser. The original plan was to introduce 100 bikes only across the country — but the response and demand for the Aquila led us to double — and now, finally triple the quantity. I am glad that we are now including Chennai in our plans since it has always been a city of motorcycle — especially cruisers — enthusiasts."

According to a press release Kinetic Engineering makes Aquila and the 170cc sports bike Kinetic Laser in collaboration with Hyosung Motors, Korea. Both motorcycles incorporate new technology in India; while the Aquila has a twin-cylinder, the Laser has a four-valve engine.
