Lufthansa offers special inaugural fares for non-stop Mumbai – Munich service

Lufthansa has announced a promotional offer on the new non-stop Mumbai-Munich flight starting 4 May. The fares on offer are Rs20,000 and Rs95,000 for the economy and business classes.  Lufthansa will become the only airline connecting Mumbai to Munich with thrice-weekly flights with the start of these services.

The inaugural fares will be applicable from 4 May 2008 until 30 June 2008.

To take advantage of this offer, Lufthansa says, customers must book their travel between 1 April-30 April 2008.

Lufthansa currently offers daily flights between Delhi-Frankfurt, Delhi-Munich, Mumbai-Frankfurt, Chennai-Frankfurt, Bangalore-Frankfurt, Hyderabad-Frankfurt and thrice-weekly Kolkata-Frankfurt sectors.

In addition, its partner Swiss International Air Lines offers daily flights between Delhi-Zurich and Mumbai-Zurich.

From 3 June 2008, Lufthansa will also boost current services between Kolkata and Frankfurt from three to five flights a week, by adding flights on Wednesday and Sunday.

With the addition of these flights, Lufthansa will offer 50 flights every week from India, through six gateways. Together with Swiss, Lufthansa will offer 64 flights a week from India via its three German hubs - Frankfurt, Munich and Zürich.
