Mercedes dealerships to engage customers with tech, fashion offerings

Mercedes-Benz India today announced the roll-out of the 'Star Fascination Fest 2010'  in Mumbai.

The event also saw the unveiling of the distinctive 'Inspired by Mercedes' collection by the designer Manish Arora.

The 'Star Fascination Fest 2010' aims to create a rewarding experience to car aficionados, technology fans and fashion enthusiasts who visit the Mercedes Benz dealership.

To that end, Mercedes-Benz India rolled out a few additions to extend its customer care concept for all dealerships across India to provide a complete brand experience.

The additions include the 'SLS AMG Play Station' –  a  3D simulator ride that offers a first hand virtual driving; the Mercedes-Benz Experience Zone –  Interactive applications that offer a complete profile of Mercedes-Benz products, 360-degree view of all car models, colour configurator, product images, brochures, technical specifications details, videos at a single touch;  BlueFi Technology – Using bluetooth to deliver product contents; Mercedes-Benz accessories and magazines.

''Our dealerships offer an experience far beyond car-ownership. They are a lifestyle statement complete with gaming consoles, designer accessories, high-end café, interactive virtual experience zones and drive total brand experience,'' said Debashis Mitra, director, sales and marketing, Mercedes-Benz India.

On the lifestyle front, Mercedes Benz rolled out the The 'Inspired by Mercedes' collection by designer Manish Arora, which draw inspiration from the brand's style, sophistication and elegance. The collection will be retailed across Mercedes-Benz dealerships and Manish Arora outlets, priced between Rs3,500 and Rs5,000.
