Microsoft launches low budget Nokia 215 Dual SIM feature phone

Microsoft has launched the low-budget Nokia 215 Dual SIM feature phone in India listing the phone on its official online store at Rs2,149, India Today reported.

The Nokia 215 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA (240x320 pixels) LCD display with 166ppi pixel density.

As the name suggested it was a dual SIM phone, with the device supporting expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Power to the device is provided by an 1100mAh removable battery provides which can deliver up to 21 days of standby time and up to 20 hours of talk time on 2G networks.

The phone comes with a 0.3-megapixel fixed-focus camera and runs on Series 30+ operating system. On the connectivity front it includes Bluetooth 3.0, GPRS, and Micro-USB.

The Nokia 215 Dual SIM comes with Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Bing Search, MSN Weather and the Opera Mini Browser pre-installed.

It also offers Bluetooth audio connectivity, which meant one could use Bluetooth headset or speaker to listen to music or make calls.

The handset which comes with a built-in torchlight as also stereo FM radio is currently available in a choice of colours like Bright Green, Black and White.

The silent launch of the device follows a similar launch of the Lumia 532 Dual SIM in India at Rs6,499.

Meanwhile, Tech2 reported that the device was the dual SIM variant of the Nokia 215 that was launched last month.
