Microsoft launches special channel promotion : Beach Tango

New Delhi: Microsoft has announced a special channel promotion, Microsoft Beach Tango, for its reseller network across the country.

Aimed at garnering channel support for the recently launched 2004 range of Microsoft hardware products, the promotion enables resellers to earn points on every Microsoft hardware product sold. These points can be redeemed for a host of prizes including a Fiat Palio autographed by Sachin Tendulkar which will be given away as the grand prize.

The Beach Tango promotion will run between 15 August 2003 and 15 December 2003. During this period, one reseller each from 8 regions across the country, with a minimum of 30,000 points in his booty will win the super prize of a Yamaha Enticer Bike or Diamond Tanishq Vouchers worth Rs. 50,000.

From amongst these eight regional winners, the reseller achieving the maximum points will win the grand prize of a Palio Car autographed by Sachin Tendulkar. And, that's not all. Resellers who manage to gain 25,000 points and above win fantastic holidays in exotic destinations such as Goa, Pattaya, Lankawi, Mauritius, Seychelles and the Goldcoast. While, resellers who reach the 2000-20,000 point slab stand to win exciting prizes such as Sony Walkmans, LG Vaccum Cleaners, Sony Car Stereos, LG Microwaves and Flatron television sets.

Says Mohit Anand, manager (home and entertainment division, Microsoft India: "Our channel partners represent our biggest asset today and through promotions like Beach Tango we want to keep our channel motivated and excited at all times while retailing Microsoft products."

During this promotion period Microsoft resellers from eight regions across the country including the North (Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana), West 1 (Mumbai), West 2 (all other cities in Maharashtra other than Mumbai, Goa, Daman and Diu and Gujarat), Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Orissa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and the seven North Eastern states will be eligible for super prizes.

The 2004 range of hardware products — keyboards and mice — integrate futuristic design, ergonomic comfort and industry-leading performance, guarantying an unparalleled computing experience for end users. The hardware range includes Microsoft's largest line-up ever of wireless peripherals.
