New Delhi: Leading telecom service provider MTNL has taken an initiative to improve its communication with its customers. It has begun with the launch of its e-newsletter MTNL Buddy. Customers will receive issues of MTNL Buddy by email by the 15th of every month.

The purpose of the launch of the e-paper is to communicate with customers better and keep them updated of the latest products and service offerings, news and events at MTNL.

MTNL hopes the e-paper initiative would enable it to get customer feedback and suggestions on its services, thus strengthening its interface with them.

Each issues of MTNL Buddy would contain a lead story along with regular features like spotlight on MTNL, tip of the month, schemes or products of the month along with regular reports and features on MTNL's plans, initiatives, and accomplishments.

MTNL will also use the e-paper to access customer perception of MTNL's service and product quality and conduct on going feedback polls and a 'tele-quiz' with a prize every month.

The winners of the tele-quiz and feedback poll for its inaugural issue mailed on Independence Day have been gifted a Nokia 3230 handset pre-loaded with a Jeevan Sathi prepaid Trump connection.
