MphasiS achieves SEI-CMMI Level 5 accreditation

Bangalore: MphasiS, a global solution provider of information technology services has been assessed at SEI CMMI Level 5, the highest quality level of process maturity recognised by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

With this achievement, MphasiS acquires a unique position in successfully blending BS 7799-2:2002 certification and SEI-CMMI Level 5 quality rating.

The assessment was carried out by an 8-member team from KPMG. Assessment results were declared based on the verification of project artifacts from various software projects executed at MphasiS' developmental centres as per the SEI SCAMPI process.

MphasiS follows a global delivery excellence model with its Chief Operating Officer responsible for delivery across all locations. In order to achieve this, MphasiS has defined and implemented a global process management policy for its development centres world-wide.
