NDTV in distribution partnership with Sri Lankan Dialog TV

New Delhi: NDTV has entered into a distribution partnership with Sri Lankan direct-to-home (DTH) service provider Dialog TV for its travel and lifestyle channel, NDTV Good Times.

Dialog Television is a subsidiary of Dialog Telekom PLC which operates Dialog satellite television, a DTH service. It supports an array of international content including CNN, BBC, HBO, Cinemax, AXN, ESPN, Discovery Channel, MTV and Cartoon Network, in addition Sri Lankan television channels. The company's services are delivered to over 100,000 Sri Lankan homes, hotel rooms and hospitals.

NDTV's head of distribution and affiliate sales Rahul Sood said, ''Our English news channel NDTV 24x7 is already present on Dialog and has been well received by viewers. We are confident that NDTV Good Times will do the same with the South Asians and Indians Diasporas looking for quality English Channel to keep in touch with the changing trends.'' He said that NDTV Good Times appeals to everyone interested in the Asian lifestyle.

NDTV Good Times was launched in September 2007, keeping in mind a largely cosmopolitan, socially upbeat audience. The English language channel beams aspirational lifestyle programming, covering subjects ranging from health, fashion, food, travel, and luxury. NDTV has also partnered with the Kingfisher Brand in a first-of-its-kind media alliance for the promotion of NDTV Good Times. The channel offers original content and lively presentation, drawing viewers seeking an entertaining experience. The channel has a line up of shows that cover every aspect of the lifestyle genre to portray the essence of an increasingly global India.

NDTV Good Times is beams to Japan, Korea and Taiwan, and plans to add other markets to its list soon. With this tie up, NDTV's presence now extends across key regions across the world, including the UK, US, Canada, the Middle East, South Africa, Australia-New Zealand and neighbouring South Asian countries.
