Nestle plans to enter Indian biscuit segment

Kolkata: The Swiss food major Nestle is planning a possible foray into the biscuit segment in India, primarily in the premium segment.

The company spokesperson, however, declined to reveal the company’s strategies in a competitive market.

Nestle has a subsidiary in India — Excelcia Foods — which manufactures biscuits under the Creamwich brand.
