Nokia N96 Bruce Lee edition unveiled in Hong Kong

Mobile giant Nokia launched the N96 Bruce Lee edition in Hong Kong as a tribute to the legendary martial arts master and a gift for the people in the true sense.

A real knockout version, the special edition of Nokia N96 boasts of an array of impressive features such as a GSM 3G network support running on Symbian's 9.3 version OS, complete with a 2.8'' TFT 16M colour (240x320 pixel) display, a navigation wheel for a fabulous web browsing experience, 16GB internal memory, 128MB RAM and a microSD slot for cards up to 8GB, permitting users to store hours of media and entertainment on the go.

The N96 can store up to 18,000 songs, around 20,000 effigies and up to 60 hours of video or full length movies. With multifunctional media keys, music, movies and games will be available at the touch of a button. The device also has the v2.0 micro USB slot, wi-fi technology, bluetooth and an impressive 5-megapixel autofocus (2592x1594) flash camera with Carl Zeiss optics, plus a secondary video call camera. Other features include the built-in GPS, A-GPS function, and stereo FM radio with RDS.

Packed with Bruce Lee's rare images and themes to boot, the limited edition phone features his face and signature on the back panel. Moreover, the phone is bundled with a wrist strap complete with nunchucks for some real life "special effects," plus a Bruce Lee doll as an accessory.

And all this doesn't come cheap. This device is available for about $1,300. Only goes to show that Nokia truly appreciates the ace martial arts master.
