Panasonic adds Pansonic Eluga smartphone to budget segment

Panasonic has, over the weekend, added a new phone to its budget segment, the Panasonic Eluga A4.

According to commentators, the key highlight of the smartphone is features a massive 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone can be bought from Panasonic's authorised dealers for Rs 12,490.

With the Eluga A4, Panasonic will take on several other devices in the budget segment, including the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo K8 Plus, and also the Moto G5S. Eluga A4 will be offered in three colour options: Champagne Gold, Mocha Gold, and Marine Blue.

The Panasonic Eluga A4, features a massive and long lasting 5,000mAh battery and comes with a 5.2-inch HD (720p) display. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The Eluga A4 features a 13-megapixel camera at the back which comes coupled with LED flash for better photography. The smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front.

As regards hardware, the Panasonic Eluga A4 is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz. It features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable to 128GB via a microSD card.

The Eluga A4 comes with several connectivity options like -- 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB OTG and like other Panasonic smartphones, the Eluga A4 also comes with company's in-house Arbo Assistant "to track your routine and help you make your life easier" as claimed by Panasonic.

Earlier Panasonic launched the Eluga I4 smartphone priced at Rs 8,290. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek's 1.25Ghz Quad-core processor and comes with 2GB of RAM coupled with 16GB of internal storage.

The onboard storage is expandable to 128GB with a microSD card. The I4 comes with a 5-Inch HD IPS display. It comes with a 2.5D curved screen and gets an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and a 5MP front facing camera. The device is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
