Pepsi’s new brand ambassadors: Ranbir and Deepika

Chennai: Pepsi has got itself two new, fresh and young faces from Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, as its brand ambassadors.
  
The two would be visible alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Pepsi's first campaign of 2008, according to a company release.
  
Pepsi's brand ambassadorial team  consists of Bollywood's mega film stars Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, and leading cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Sreesanth and Robin Uthappa. Each ambassador personifies Pepsi's youth appeal, exemplifying the characteristic dynamism attached with the brand. They not only possess a great aspirational value with the youth but also mirror the dreams of millions.
  
Pepsi's advertising relies heavily on iconic stars such as Shah Rukh, Aishwarya and Sachin for its marketing. The company's new advertising would break soon, says the company, unleashing 360 degree activation from the brand.
  
The creative minds behind the commercial were Agnello Dias and Soumitra Karnik from JWT.  The television commercial (TVC) had been directed by Abhinay Deo from Ramesh Deo Productions.
