22 Jul 2010

Precision Cars India, the official Porsche importer, launched the second generation of Cayenne at the Porsche centre in Mumbai today.

A luxury SUV by Porsche, Cayenne is available in five different versions, including a petrol-electric hybrid version, Cayenne S Hybrid.

With today's launch, Porsche now has five variants in the Indian market - Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne, Cayenne S and the Cayenne S Hybrid.

The Cayenne 2010 boasts a sporty design that is in sync with the overall range of Porsche cars.

It has a spacious interior with a 40mm longer wheelbase and 48mm size addition in comparison to its predecessor.

The cockpit has been derived from Porsche Panamera, launched in 2009. The Cayenne range allows rear-seat adjustments up to 160mm and three backrest angles for increased comfort. (See: Porsche launches Panamera in Mumbai)
