PSI introduces new in-feeder

Mississauga: PSI (www.printpsi.com), the experts in document and order fulfilment solutions, will be introducing the large capacity in-feeder at the upcoming Graph Expo and Converting Expo 2003 in Chicago.

The new LC in-feeder 3000 is designed to intelligently dispense large volumes of materials including catalogues of different sizes, brochures, paper, small cards and even CDs. The ''load on the fly'' feeder eliminates any possibility of time wastage and is easy to adjust for different stocks of material and various sizes.

The new in-feeder offers longer run time between loading, allowing for three times the capacity of previous feeders — 48" for catalogues or up to 4,000 sheets of paper. Based on an average feed time of four seconds per catalogue, a customer can now stack up to 384 catalogues (1/8" thick) in one load for disbursement, which will provide a running time of over 25 minutes. This could result in tremendous savings for an organisation, with four times the amount of labour being saved and freed up employee time now used for more critical tasks.

The Graph Expo and Converting Expo 2003 will be held at McCormick Place South, in Chicago, from 28 September to 1 October 2003. It is the nation''s most comprehensive tradeshow and conference for pre-press, printing and converting equipment. At booth No 4083 in the Mailing and Fulfillment Center, PSI will be exhibiting a range of turnkey solutions to automate a company''s distribution process. These systems deliver results free of human error and by automating traditionally manual tasks; both time and money can be saved.
