Punj Lloyd to build commercial buildings for Hirco Group's Panvel project

Punj Lloyd Group has secured a civil contract for two commercial buildings within Hiranandani Palace Gardens, a township project of the Hirco Group in Panvel, near Mumbai.

The project, a part of Hirco's Panvel SEZ in Maharashtra, is expected to be completed within 24 months, Punj Lloyd said in a stock exchange filing.

The contract entails the construction of two commercial buildings and a podium of a total built-up area of about 2 million sq ft. The first of the two buildings will be completed within 12 months.

The commercial towers under contract will be within walking distance of the residential apartments.

Hirco's residential township project in Panvel, spread over 280 acres, will feature primary and secondary schools, healthcare facilities, hospital, shopping facilities, bus terminal and sufficient parking space as also community, sports, and entertainment centres.

The preliminary master plan for Palace Gardens includes 16.5 million sq ft of residential space with large open spaces and pedestrian corridors, offering a premium lifestyle.
