Qibla Cola invited to present at UK soft drinks conference

London: The UK based Qibla Cola Company Ltd, has been invited to speak at the UK Soft Drinks Industry Conference, on Thursday 6th May 2004, at the New Connaught Rooms in Central London. The conference will address the role of soft drinks in society, with key speakers from major soft drinks companies including; Coca Cola, Pepsi and Britvic in attendance.

Qibla Cola has been asked to deliver a speech on ‘The New Cola Agenda’. ''The Qibla Cola Company is here to provide all people of conscience with an alternate brand of popular soft drinks — a real alternative'', commented Abid Hussain, Chief Communications Officer for Qibla Cola, who will be speaking at the conference. ''This is a hundred year old industry where change is required, continued social pressures and changing lifestyles will ensure an increase in choice. Qibla Cola is leading this change as the ethical choice for the consumer with a conscience.''

The conference will be attended by leading industry figures, and there will be participation by the industry’s main customer groups.

Products of the Qibla Cola Company are available from retailers throughout the UK. The firm has also expanded distribution into Canada, the Netherlands, Norway and Pakistan with more countries to follow soon.

The company gives 10% of all profits made to good causes to charities working in health, education and medical research locally in each country the products are sold.
