R V Ramanan joins Hexaware Tech as chief software architect

Chennai: R V Ramanan has joined Hexaware Technologies Ltd (www.hexaware.com) as chief software architect. His appointment will strengthen the technology focus of Hexaware and its research and development efforts.

Ramanan will be responsible for the architecture of all Hexaware projects. He will also oversee development of new architects to enable customers develop the right kind of software solutions for their specific business needs.

Says Hexaware chief executive officer Rusi Brij: “Hexaware has entered a phase of rapid growth, and in line with its strategy, intends to foray into architecture consultancy to move up the value chain in software solutions business. Ramanan’s extensive experience in the technology development will be invaluable to Hexaware and help us identify and add new products and services to our existing offerings.”

Ramanan holds an MTech from IIT-Delhi and brings in over 15 years’ experience in the software field. He has worked with Citibank / Orbitech, Covansys and Tata Consultancy Services in several senior management positions. He also had a five-year stint in the US with Floral Transworld Delivery Inc, where he managed their entire technology operations.
